KSU now ranked 13th just defeated No. 2 KU. After last season they had two, TWO, players, brought in a new coach, a long time assistant at Baylor. He assembled a complete team of older players from the portal. I don't think he was checking high school or college transcripts.

Every year there seems to be a team like that. Iowa State comes to mind in recent times.

What stands out to me is that you can't underestimate experience. It feels like so often you have teams doing well on a roster built by portal players that are not necessarily highly regarded, but are experienced.

I know it was a typo, but I dream of the day NU is ranked that high.

KU is a very good team - possibly even better than last year's champ. One of their stars is Gradey Dick, who went to the same school as Ty Berry.

Just corrected. Hesitated for a moment. Liked it the way it was a whole lot better.

Gradey Dick is a very good player. Very smooth. Had a rough shooting night, however. Kansas doesn't have any big bodies this year. Keyontae Johnson who is a brute, not particularly tall, was having his way. Some history with him, but I am not knowledgeable, so I will leave it at that.

Teams that have been a pain in the butt against Kansa have made it difficult on Grady. Seems to throw the Kansas offense off.
