I am looking to replace my kitchen cabinets. Does anyone have any recommendations for high-quality (no particle board or plastic supports) and reasonably priced cabinet stores/warehouses?

Thanks!

Try Jaeger Lumber. They have locations throughout the state:

Your carpenter/builder may get a better price than a homeowner at Jaeger.

We really like Wellborn Cabinets. Twenty or s years ago when we were building a house in upstate NY, our builder used a custom cabinet builder. His prices were too high for us, and he recommended Wellborn to us. We have used Wellborn cabinets on several projects, and we have been very pleased.

When we lived in south Brunswick we used Stelton Cabinet in Edison or Piscataway I think. The guy was really good and very talented. Prices were reasonable and he did all the work himself along with his son

Shiloh cabinets, deal with Bruce Sax at Aaron’s Plumbing in New Brunswick. He did a great job for us and the cabinets are very well made.

I want to recommend you the kitchen cabinets that I bought for my house almost 7 years ago. These cabinets are of high quality, they last long, are easy to clean and the designs are amazing. Different colors that will match every design. We purchased these rta kitchen cabinets on a sale and we took the risk in case they will broke soon. But no, everything is working great from the first day till now. You may check for more details and any sales in the link that I attached.

When we redo our house which should be in about a year(still have one pasture and barn to go) I'm hitting you up for product recommendations. You've done this quite a few times now and know all the in and outs. This is clearly an area of expertise for you, whereas I'm a complete novice save the masonry.

You can hit me up here, or via my mobile. Highly recommend Pete F to do the work. He is meticulous. Write down the brand Wellborn cabinets. We love them. All plywood boxes, no particle board (must specify). You may want to talk to the Mrs.--she is the real expert. She could be a GC at this point. We have a lot of fun on building projects and renovations.

Looks like per @e5fdny Jagger and Woodhaven are the places to go. Two places I already frequent. Now all I need is @knightfan7 to chime in as he just redid his entire house and my recommendation list is complete for the Monmouth county shore area. 😀

Seriously, I may be in the construction business but when it becomes anything beyond masonry, drainage, grading I'm really a novice. So all advice is more than appreciated. O and tree removal with a 40 ton excavator has become an expertise as well.

If you need a chainsaw guy, I am your man. I know a guy with a bucket truck who is inexpensive, and a Rutgers (Cook) certified tree expert who climbs when needed. We work together in my back yard, and he tells me I'm a little dangerous with my chainsaw technique.

When i had my kitchen done here in Austin, my contractor offered me premade UB Cabinets or custom builds at nearly the same price. I am so glad i went with the custom. He had an off-the-boat Italian cabinetmaker (Giuseppe, no joke) come in who made all kinds of small recommendations to the design. I was able to pay a little more for real Cherry wood facia. Since i had a small kitchen i had the bases come out 34' instead of 32", allowed me to make the uppers 2" deeper to fit larger plates. I was able to get them to mix an exact stain to my liking. And of course they fit the space exactly. No idea where you find similar up there, but for me the it was one of the few instances where a little more was worth it. FYI, redid kitchen down to studs, new electric circuit, added insulation to wall, new cabinets, granite for ~$32k (2013). Included one 16' wall and one 10' x 4' island.

Have to second(3rd?) the recommendation on Wellborn cabinets. Huge variety and pretty customizable. We put in 30 cabinets in our kitchen(3 walls and a large island), pretty much all drawers in the lowers(I hate having to reach into a cabinet to grab pots, etc).

And honestly other than the crown molding(so finicky getting them perfect), installing cabinets yourself is pretty easy.

If you like farmhouse sinks, the only one to use is from Kohler: https://www.us.kohler.com/us/whiteh...n-sink/productDetail/kitchen-sinks/428755.htm

redid the kitchen last year and used Starmark. Not sure it was worth the premium.

i used Starmark- very high quality and during certain times of year they offer 20-40% off to builders...not sure how that is with Covid and how busy contractors are.
