So alas we can put to bed the notion that nobody wanted him. Was always a pile of garbage. There aren’t many teams that wouldn’t want him as a back up.

You’d think certain posters would tire of getting egg on their face.

As many on here have said (in this thread and others) - the kid is obviously not super skilled - but he’s got great size and athletic and skilled enough - to fill a back up role at the high major level. Only those that are stupid or biased can’t see that. Seems a number of high major programs (Kansas) see that.

You’d think certain posters would tire of getting egg on their faces … repeatedly

But there’s a direct correlation between talking out of your *** and making a fool of yourself
Averaged 5 ppg / 6 rpg / 1 block in the BIG in only 19 mpg.

Yet somehow we had folks claiming that even low majors wouldn’t be interested. Even after Baye Fall was picked up by Fresno. Crazy.

All these big body guys will find good landing spots. There aren’t a lot of humans that size. How much he plays is a different question. If EO ends up at Kansas, I would think he is a back up getting 8-10 mins a game.

Nobody ever said he’d project to be an impact player for a blue blood. The comments that were ridiculous were the suggestions that no D1 teams would want him. That was never close to reality.

Given their blueblood status, I would think Kansas would use their considerable resources to get an NBA player or a European pro, like some other schools are doing.
