Beginning at 12:00 am, I will attempt to set the record for continuous hours on this or any other board. I'm attempting to top my last years record of 26 hours. I will be posting & responding to everything until I drop from exhaustion or am banned.

Each of you should make a pledge of at least $5 to be donated to RU football for every hour of my marathon

looks like it - 26 hours is kind of weak - have done 36+ hours without sleep many times...
yup.. i've done 3 days 4 (something like 84-86hrs total) nights before.. by the end of it i was practically hearing things... slept for 20-22hrs straight afterward

Senior design course in chem eng'g - procrastinated and did it all in a week, sleeping 3 total hours out of 120 without any stimulants (just fear of not graduating) and working the entire time. Was kind of incoherent near the end, smoked a joint and then couldn't fall asleep for a couple more hours. Then slept 12 hours and got up and ate my first real meal in days at the Somerset Diner at about 3 am.

Interesting, was that Plant Design and Economics? We did the same thing - 60+ hours with about an hour or two of sleep.

Yep, Constantinides's course designing the ethylene production plant. My roommate, also a chem E, put in similar hours. I remember it was around 10 am and we were still furiously trying to finish up and had several more hours of work to do and the project report was ostensibly due at 11 am, so I called up Dr. C. and asked if we technically had until 2 pm (the "exam" period was listed as 3 hours) and he said that would be ok.

So, we were finishing up around 1:30 pm and going over all the sections to make sure we had everything done, when I noticed that the smokestack section was missing. After smacking my roommate in the head (this was his section) we realized there was simply no time left to do this section (would've taken several hours to do it right), so we decided to "fake" it. We wrote a short summary section up and put a note in there to "see pages 82-83 for the calculation details," hoping it wouldn't be noticed. It wasn't and we got A's, lol (the next day we did spend a couple of hours doing the calcs, just in case we were called on it).

Stayed up all night cramming for a history exam after a long Thursday night shift at Bennigans. Exam was at 10 and I had a shitload of Instant coffee( literally) and took my index cards to the stall with me to use every free minute u had. I passed out from 830 to 915 on the toilet. I couldn't feel my legs and my *** was painfully chapped. Still managed a B on the final, but had to put aloe on my butthole for a few days before the holidays started. What a memory

And George Lopez. I have done my 4th of July social duties. Now it is my time to watch the shows I have seen 10 times an 11th.
