They were really close though. 10 out of those 12 losses were by less than a touchdown and their worst loss was only by 10.
Fired their hitting coach a few weeks back!

The Santana thing is so dumb. He's 36 and can't hit. Even if he gets hot for a couple weeks, who the hell are they gonna get for him? Nobody.
It certainly feels that way. How you have Ohtani and Trout, two generational players, and still manage to be under 500 is beyond me.
Trout is on a dubious Rod Carew-esque streak right now, amassing the most WAR by far of any player since he came into the league (including 3 AL MVP awards) without winning a single playoff series
in fact, Trout has only played in one single playoff series in his entire career
Wow, that's really sad actually. For that to be the case with his talent and as long as he's been in the league now... wow.
One player probably has the least impact in baseball than any other sport. It's not like basketball or football where you can continually go to your best player.
Yep, and it’s both sides. Right up there with Trout in terms of WAR over the last 9 years is another player whose got generational talent but rarely gets to showcase it in October - Jake deGrom.
Pretty bone headed move by him last night fo show....classic, trying to outhink the room moment.
