The amazing thing about Sexton is he is manipulating the entire market.

Sexton represents Saban, Malzahn, Fisher, Kiffin, Freeze, Musschamp, and a lot of other HC and even more assistants.

2 weeks ago, Saban is the highest paid and he should be given the # of NCs he has. He has it in his contract that if someone makes more $$$$, Alabama must match.

Fisher has ONE NC and he just got the longest term deal (10 years) and biggest contract ever ($75,000,000) for a college coach. This alone will mean a renegotiation of Saban's contract at Bama regardless of how the season ends.

Malzahn has ZERO NCs but has beat Saban twice in 5 years and just Auburn to agree to a 7 year $49,000,000 deal with much more guaranteed than before. Btw before he was only pulling in $4,500,000 annually.

Equal money is the assistant pay constantly going up too cause they're up to 10 assistant coaches per staff now.

This has been a continuous circular renegotiation. At some point the supposed institutions of higher education have to learn, they can get together (via conference or collusion) and institute spending limits. They're getting played bad. Sexton is really that powerful.
