RIP
>Jim Marshall's nickname with the Minnesota Vikings was "The Captain". He was also known as "The All-Time Iron Man" for his incredible durability and longevity with the team. He was also a key member of the "Purple People Eaters,"
Jim Marshall, a defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings, holds several NFL records: most seasons played by a defensive player (20), most consecutive games played by a defensive player (289), and most consecutive regular-season games played by a defensive player (282). He also holds the record for most opponent fumble recoveries (29)< (From a google search)

My first posters were Marshal, Eller, Deacon Jones and Lanier.
I wore #70 one year because of Marshall (thankfully I moved on from DL)
PPE was an amazing crew off the field as well.
Miss those old time players

Was the guy who picked up a fumble and ran the wrong way. I know he was a great player HOF player, but before ESPN there was The Football Follies from NFL Films and that was always on just like The Wide World of Sports would start every show with that poor ski jumper falling off the side of the ramp, lol.
