Mets legend:

Ugh, one of the greats and so underrated. RIP

Given some of the pitchers who have gone into the hall, he should have gone in too.

RIP to a Met Great
The Tom and Jerry duo was one of the best in MBL history

<As a teammate duo, Seaver and Koosman were one of the greatest one-two punches ever. They led the "Miracle Mets" to the 1969 World Series title, with Seaver winning three Cy Young Awards during his career and Koosman winning 20 games twice.
In terms of all-time duos, I'd place:

1. Koufax & Drysdale
2. Maddux & Glavine
3. Seaver & Koosman>

One of the greatest rookie cards of all time...

The 1969 Mets, man that was a team. I remember taking my transistor radio to school to listen to games (WS had day games back then). Another legend gone from the team,R.I.P #36

I doubt any baseball fan under the age of 50 has any clue how good Koosman was- maybe one of the best 4 year starts of a career. He had 8-10 years that you could say were individually HOF type years. And if he pitched for anyone except for the Met's - he is an easy 300 game winner.
