Their strongholds are gone but ISIS isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Those members will reorganize in another country where they can receive more finances that will support their “cause”.
Sad but true!

Yep. It'll be Iraq again imo. The "ruling religion" is oppressing the other large one right now. Not funding their rebuild as much as their own rebuild. Not providing support the other religion feels like it needs. Lots of resentment. The seeds of the newest group have been planted. Those 8 year old will form another group in ten years.

As an organized state, yep gone.

As an insurgency group like Al-Qaida, they'll be around for awhile.

This will continue to be a battle around the world. Radical Islam is not going away. Dealing with radical religious sects on all sides is not good, but none worse than radical Islam. I do believe it is going to become an increasing issue in this country. We are going to be battling the socialists and an increasing presence with the more radical Islamic sects. I do appreciate the moderates in all the various religions. I do appreciate the moderate Muslims, but I have done enough study to realize it is an issue with being a true Muslim and not want to defeat and remove all the others. Of course we see some issues in Christianity as well, with some believing only they know the truth. But they are wanting to annihilate all the others.

Trump, once again, did what he said he was gonna do...

ISIS was spreading like wildfire near the end of Obama’s term b/c he was too busy playing politics...

Trump said we would get rid of ISIS & he followed through...

Yea, but Trump biggest motivation in defeating them was possibly because they had gotten so much press, and that by defeating them he would be considered the greatest?

Who cares what the motivation was?

ISIS needed to be stopped & he said he would get it done...which he did.

You mention the press ISIS was getting...it’s funny just how little attention this victory is getting...it’s amazing just how much the liberal media wants to see Trump fail. They would rather have ISIS take over Europe & the Middle East while attacking the US on a daily basis than have to give Donald Trump credit for anything.

Definitely an evil group, glad they’re on the decline. For those who are interested in the topic, I highly recommend the podcast Caliphate, which is like a ten-part series on the rise of ISIS and how they radicalize people from developed nations. Very graphic and intense but really interesting if you’re interested in the subject matter.

Sure wish he would keep his word on tax cuts and healthcare. Nice work on ISIS.
We did get tax cuts! Would have done away with Obamacare also if the congress would have backed him.

kind of like he followed through with that free wall, right?
I don’t think anyone with a brain thought Mexico would just cut us a check for the wall...Trump didn’t either. But make no mistake, Mexico will basically pay for it in the long run with the renegotiation of NAFTA...you know, that trade deal that Trump said was unfair to the US? That trade deal that both Mexico & Canada said they wouldn’t renegotiate??

Guess what?? They both renegotiated & it will pay dividends for our country...so basically, Mexico will pay for the wall.

I coached one of the guys flying those missions over Syria. His dad told me the other day they call it "dropping warheads on foreheads."
How cool is that!

I agree with you 100% I was just making light of Trump's narcissism. I did not vote for him, and I actually chose not to vote that election at all, which is rare for me. Even though I am a republican (moderate) and grew up voting 'split ticket' with Hollings and Thurman as well as others, over the years I have moved to the absolute republican side. I knew I could not ever vote for Hillary Clinton, and I could not vote for the socialist Bernie Sanders, so I chose not to vote at all. But these lunatic socialist democrats have gotten me liking Trump much more, and I will vote for him this time even though I do still have some issues with him. It is apparent that these socialist democrats are going to ruin this country. They have no clue of the almost total failures of the type of socialism that they are calling for. Now is the time to push back, fight back, or whatever it takes to keep them from destroying this nation.

i gave you a fact. He promised a wall. It is not built. He promised Mexico would pay for it (not indirectly, directly). They will not.

Those are facts bro

If you do not know why the wall is built then there is now way to help you understand. There is now being exposed a conspiracy or even a coup by a small group of democrats (and maybe a few trump hating republicans) that is being revealed, such as the information about to be released from the Ukrainian government regarding Hillary Clinton's 'collusion' with them. You may want to grab the popcorn because things are about to get REAL interesting.

Nah, he just moved the brackets.

I don’t think anyone with a brain thought Mexico would just cut us a check for the wall...Trump didn’t either. Guess what?? They both renegotiated & it will pay dividends for our country...so basically, Mexico will pay for the wall.

So NAFTA was originally unfair and the US unfairly paid x amount of dollars too much over time..doesn’t this negotiation mean Mexico could use that accumulated x amount to pay for the wall? Or did they negotiate to pay the US back for all that “lost” money over the years?
