There definitely are emergencies out there, whether it be food, shelter and transportation for the needy, medical care and research for the sick, protection for abused children, animal care, etc. The needs are there. If you can't do anything, that's understandable. But as tough as it might be for us. I suspect that most of us here are in much, much better shape than many, many others are. So, please give it some thought to do what you can for causes bigger than us as individuals. You know, life is undeniably short. At the end of the day, we won't be remembered and defined on what we have accumulated and have. Rather, it will be on how we did in our ultimate purpose here, which is helping others.
