Me either, kind of disappointed. I thought I saw some but were either planes or inconclusive. I did almost hit a deer staring into the night sky though.

A friend and I was at Rossi’s in Hamilton last weekend and walked outside and saw 3. We stood there for about 25 minutes and they flew almost over us. Roughly 1000’ up and was about 7-10’ long based on lights. Had a green light on the port side and red on the starboard side. Heard engine noise but wasn’t loud enough to be a piper cub aircraft, also didn’t move in straightforward line. We gave them the one finger salute 🖕🏻

Come to South Amboy, there's been 5 - 15 of them flying above the city and bay for 3 of the past 5 nights.

It really is a mind f$@k at times. I was in the bayshore area tonight (had wide view over the bay) and could see 10+ flying objects at any time. A few (2-3) were obviously planes but the rest …. a month ago I would have just assumed plane or chopper. But now? Couldn’t tell

Don’t you know it’s not cool to admit you’re not 100% positive about everything? Only hard lines in the sand around here.

This is how mass hysteria works.

In Montgomery, driving up to home this past Friday immediately saw two objects with two sets of light colors hovering in the backyard airspace. One object with white and red lights and the other with white and green. Both figures were about 4-5 stories high. Took out phone and started recording. Both flew away within a few mins and low and behold two others started coming one by one from the opposite direction all while one drone stood stagnant hovered in place about 10-20 stories high like a traffic cop. From my vantage point, the drones looked like 4-6 ft in width.

Called local police and let them know what I saw. They recorded and said they would pass on info to the proper channels..

Saw activity last night as well.

Had to run to BJ’s last night here in Bergen County. I guess because it was so clear and the flight pattern to Newark was over the area, I don’t think I have ever seen so much in the sky prior. Most were airplanes, planets, moon and helicopters. However when I pulled into my driveway a drone flew over my house. That one was probably one of my neighbors since it was small and flying just above the houses.

Isn’t that exactly what your federal government that believe so highly in told us to do?

I see your Herbie Drone, and I raise you with Joe Drone-will Georgia make the CFP? Not sure after that Ga Tech game?

And this Felix Unger, according to Howard Cosell, an inane drone:

Felix: "I can't apologize to Cosell. He called me an inane drone."

Oscar: "What's an inane drone?"

Felix: "Well, it's a dull bee."

Oscar: "You are an inane drone."

I opened the door in my house and a drone flew right inside. I opened the windows and it flew out a minute later.

I'm sure many things people are seeing are stars or planets.
But that's obviously not all they are seeing.

Pretty sure Jupiter and stars aren't moving across the sky when standing still looking up.
And planes aren't rapidly changing direction.

How frequent are helicopters flying at night?

Sheeze, what are you droning on about now?

I haven’t seen a drone, but I did see a Russia submarine in the Hudson.

Nah, that was just a whale.

You're gonna need a bigger fly swatter.

NSA is apparently reporting that they are picking up a lot of signal interference in areas where drones have been reported hovering or flying around suburban NJ neighborhoods. Apparently, some of the drones are "listening" in on wifi and bluetooth signals.

So all you folks who keep seeing drones around your neighborhoods probably ought to avoid some of your favorite internet activities for awhile.

I haven't seen one either. I have been to friends houses where drones are flying to take pictures with a hefty lens only to demonstrate that they are just airplanes. I did see through a telescope, next to Jupiter a small object slowly descending. Not a meteor or satellite. But not sure what it was.

My neighbor explained to me that drones have red and green lights on them. And I had to explain that all planes, and boats have those.

I want to belive but have seen nothing yet.

People do fly drones obviously bust mostly people are seeing planes
We all know the flight patterns around here and we all know what planes look like when they’re flying. My guess is the vast majority aren’t confusing planes for drones and vice-versa

I’ve been seeing them all this week since I first looked up. How to spot these “drones” vs a plane or helicopter at night:

Drone: 2 bright, camera bulb-like flashing white lights on both “wing tips”. The white lights are brighter than any other plane white lights, almost like super white LEDs, and they “flash” like a camera flash, they don’t “blink” like a plane’s lights.

The lights only flash “once” per instance, i.e. if you see the lights flicker say 2-3 times quickly, that’s a helicopter or Cessna.

They have a red blinking light in the middle/bottom.

Download the FlightRadar app to make sure there are no planes in the area of the sky where you’re looking.

Best to see by bodies of water - reservoir particularly, or by the bay/ocean.
