Watching Hurley on the sidelines in this UCONN/Cuse game makes me so much happier we have Pikiell.

Well, don’t worry about what he looks and acts like, he’s doing a hell of a job there at UConn. Very impressed with him as opposed to the previous coach Ollie. Hurley is a very good coach. I’m glad we have Pike but Hurley would have done well here too.

Hurley is a very young coach. Great? - Maybe Not yet, but he certainly has the DNA. Let’s face it, he’s a huge upgrade from Ollie at UConn.
He certainly would have been a huge upgrade to EJ. He didn’t want to come here for whatever reason (AD -dysfunctional administration) whatever. I think we’re much better off with Pikiell. I’m excited about our future!
Uconn scored over 80 points against the Syracuse 2/3 zone defense which tells me Hurley is doing a very good job.He has a far easier job than Pikiell because Uconn has a long history of being a elite college basketball program with national championships hanging from the ceiling.

He is a complete lunatic on the sidelines....good recruiter/coach which is obviously what you want, but yeah I see how he can rub some people the wrong way with his over the top antics during games - myself included.
I’m a very big fan of Hurley. The pride he carries on shoulders will win UCONN games on its own. It will also lose them games if he gets T’d up down the stretch in a close one however.
Steve is so professional and knows how to say the right thing and loves meeting people. He gets it. Danny has always been out of control on the sidelines. I saw him when he coached St. Benedict's and he was screaming the F word all night long. I could not believe his actions representing a parochial school. Even though it was only an exhibition I am so glad that Steve led us to a 8 or 9 point win 2 weeks ago at U Conn.
Connecticut DID NOT defeat Syracuse last night. They beat Central Connecticut. Big difference for certain. Get the story right please.
