Same question, Jacktown metro. Looking for blown in insulationAnybody on here work in the blown-in insulation business near Brookhaven? I am in the market.
I shall gladly pay someone else to do it.Don't know how frisky you want to get, but you can rent a blower from Home Depot and buy the insulation. We did it at a hunting camp several years ago. DO NOT recommend trying in August.
We wished we had afterwards.I shall gladly pay someone else to do it.
No spray foam, just blown insulation.I assume since your in MS it will be attic only. Be careful with spray in (especially foam) at ground level, below ground level (basements), or roof deck/rafters. While it's very effective, it can hide termite infestations and roof leaks. It can also be make it hard to get a termite bond on your property and make it hard to get a termite clearence letter when you go to sell. Supposedly there is infrared scanners that can detect live colonies, but old damage may never be found.
