No video conferencing, gambling sites, or actual movies. I do like to watch short nature videos, but because of the usage warnings I rarely watch those anymore. I always have WIFI turned off since I don’t use my phone really when I am at a doctors office or McDonalds where they have access.
do you not have wifi at home? no broadband at home? because if you do a lot of data use at home you should be using wifi... but if battery is an issue.. if you have wifi on but do not connect (like at mcdonalds, etc) then the wifi radio is using battery

also.. you say it is not your plan.. that figure you see could be for the whole account you share...

As others have pointed out 383GB is the total, you should not be using anywhere near that amount in a month. Netflix uses about 3GB per hour of HD video, so that is almost 128 hrs of nonstop video. Depending on quality Youtube and other video services are about the same some higher some lower. Rule of thumb for podcasts is about 1MB per minute of audio.

There is a good chart about usage here, https://www.reviews.org/mobile/how-much-cell-phone-data-do-i-need/ :
ActivityAmount of data used
4K video streaming5.85 GB/hr.
HD video streaming2.5 GB/hr.
SD video streaming.7 GB/hr.
Audio streaming72 MB/hr.
Uploading one image to social media5 MB/photo
Sending emails (without attachment)20 KB/email
Sending emails (with standard attachment)300 KB/email
Online gaming12 MB/hr.
Viewing a web page1 MB/pg.

To limit usage you can download the podcasts and videos while on wifi.
