today I found out I am cancer free. OMG, what a relief. It's a bonzai day.
I was diagnosed on November 14th with stage 3 colon cancer and the stage 3 is a code that indicated that the cancer was also in another organ which turned out to be for lymph nodes my surgeon remove the mass in my: and took out 16 lymph nodes after I was released from the hospital I started with chemotherapy at Florida Cancer Specialists. the chemo injections was a cocktail made up of three drugs leucovorin, fluorouracil, and oxaliplatin. I had eight treatments each one two weeks apart as time went on in the effects of the chemo had some time behind them the symptoms got worse to where I was feeling faint and did faint to the ground 3 * also I had cold sensitivity and dry mouth. I lost 27 pounds during the duration of the chemo so loss of appetite was actually my biggest concern Foods tasted the same like nothing and trying to swallow I had a gag reflex no wonder I lost so much weightIf you don't mind, what type was it? And how was it treated?
You definitely don't have to answer if you don't want!
Praise the Lord.today I found out I am cancer free. OMG, what a relief. It's a bonzai day.
