Thank you Lord for the many blessings I receive daily, especially those I am not even aware of but you know I need.
Pilot rescued alive and now safe from the Iranians is another Easter blessing from the Lord.
And so shall those who put their trust in absolutely nothing else but the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.
The early church would be absolutely mortified at what Resurrection Sunday has become.

Easter is trying to compete with Christmas.
It's already there in terms of the secularization. Christmas could be a bit more muddled on its origin and meaning. However, Easter is explicitly and exclusively based on Christ's resurrection. There's no debate to be had. The world has fully co-opted it, though.
