OT: Happy Cinco De Mayo.

I am in a place where they normally shut down and dance in the streets listening to Marimbas and devouring street tacos. But not this year so I will celebrate Casa Grande Arizona with a platter of tamales and tacos loaded with unidentifiable but delicioso meats And a pineapple soda. No beers until the day this all goes adios.

I think the Mexican restaurants in Tucson were doing a banner take-out business yesterday with Cinco de Mayo orders. We couldn't even get through to place an order. Instead, we'll try to do for the Seis de Mayo today.

Restaurants open in Southwest Florida with obvious restrictions (25% capacity inside, widely separated outdoor seating, no drink service at the bar). Celebrated at Nacho Mama’s, Marco Island, outdoor dining. Bumped into the 53rd speaker of the United States House of Representatives as we were leaving.

Had takeout last night, and totally different than eating at the actual restaurant for Quince de Mayo!
