That organization is turning into the Knicks of the NFL. Appears to be really bad leadership all the way around.

I’m in the camp of never committing to a living legend as the man in charge.

They did win a Super Bowl when Elway was in charge at least.

They did in large part to taking advantage of Manning‘s final good years, but the last six years have been really really bad and not even close to trending in the right direction.

Broncos are pikers compared to the Knicks who basically have been irrelevant since 99.

The Carmelo-Linsanity era was their 23 year peak and they screwed that up too

Wasn’t Hackett an OC?
The coaching profession is an old boys club . His father was the coach at usc and the OC for the jets with testaverde .
Young Hackett’s claim to fame was being the OC for Rodgers in Green Bay for a couple of years. Nothing in his resume screamed big time HC except having some connections or a couple playoff games with jacksonville . Supposedly , Denver did a really in depth interview process and wound up with Hackett over dan Quinn

If you mean a candidate he spent less than a year at Denver, his first OC job.
Just throwing it out there. I don’t know anything about him other than what’s linked. I have no idea how he is perceived other than someone thought he could be an OC at the pro level.

There were reports of Sean Payton having something lined up, maybe this is it.

George Paton made a big mistake in hiring Hackett .
Can't afford another bad hire and needs to get someone like Sean Payton,
even if it means the HC will be in charge of draft and whose on the roster

Wilson has always been slow to get the ball out... generally one of the slowest in the league.
Wilson can take his slogan ”let’s ride” up,his a$$! Just like Zach Wilson of the jets, he has no remorse for his defense. Biggest bust in the bronco era. He should just play pickle ball that he loves so much.

if your pro football team won a super bowl once a decade you would probably be happy...broncos in 2015...Knicks in 1970...

Apparently wherever he lands he's bringing Vic Fangio as his DC, problem is Fangio was the Broncos HC who has replaced by Hackett, not so sure Fangio might want to go back to Denver so soon.

Paul Hackett was one of the worst head coaches in USC history. If you look up the term "losing the locker room" on Google, there's a picture of Hackett Senior.

It takes a real piece of Samsonite to go 1 game over .500 at USC. The apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

Carroll did win big with hackett’s recruits when they got older.
