I listened to them in the mid 2000s and wasn’t crazy about them. Wasn’t aware he was still doing music with them either.
To be honest, all new rock stations play the ffdp and shinedown garbage that I never turn it to the station, so I never hear any new rock music. I just listen to poscasts, zeppelin, crue, a few other older rock bands and Pandora 90s country

Tool, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Keys, Queens of the Stone Age, and Modest Mouse. That's a few without even stopping to think.

Saw them recently here in Jacksonville. They headlined and sounded great. The singer sings like Robert Plant used to sing. That is the main reason for the zeppelin comparison. They do not cover any LZ songs. The guitarist is unbelievably good for a kid just out of HS. I wish more kids their age would focus and play more rock and roll than the crap they are putting out today.

Also, the opening act for them was a band called Ida Mae. A british husband wife duo who were also very good. Very bluesy. Amazing guitar and vocals. If you haven't heard them, check them out.

There will always be a hater out there in music reviews. That’s overly critical to the point of where it comes off personal.

Hard to take that serious.
