I love the Gregory Peck rendition of Moby Dick.
Captain Ahab's obsessed with the white whale and he comes across a sailing captain who has lost sight of his son in a whale boat. The captain wants to know if Ahab has seen his son. Ahab wants to know if the captain has seen the whale. Captain pleads: Will you help me find my son? Ahab responds: I seek the white whale.
Later on, Ahab boards the whale and is stabbiing it as he drowns while tangled in the lines and his arm is flailing back and forth as if urging the men to follow. A sailor in a whale boat shouts: Look though he is dead yet he beckons. Others want to return to the ship. The first mate orders: We're whaling men damn it! And off they go to their watery grave.
And, yes, I'm a Navy guy.

This reminded me of a quote that stuck with me from A High Wind in Jamaica, with Anthony Quinn and James Coburn. At the end of the movie, the pirates are on trial for capital murder for the accidental death of one of the kids. When the guilty verdict is announced, James Coburn starts shouting that they didn't do it, they were innocent. Anthony Quinn looks at him and says "You must be guilty of something"

This movie is a treasure trove of great lines.
