This is simply just not true. We've accurately known the effects of a lifetime of exposure to pesticides for decades using animal models.

What does a rise in any of these things have to do directly with our diets? Also, autism and definitely adhd didn't really start being diagnosed until 50 years ago, so I would imagine they have spiked since then.

Plus if you are going to bash the seed companies, be consistent and mention that the drug companies make a damn killing off all of those ADHD prescriptions.

What do you farm?

The use of glyphosate has gone up but a whole host of other herbicides has decreased because of it and glyphosate breaks down pretty quickly and is far less of an environmental problem. In the past you might have to tank mix three different herbicides to cover a whole range of weeds that roundup does by itself.

I just realized I haven't read what you manage. Soybeans? Cotton? Rice?

Curious because if you use roundup ready seed, have you seen much weed resistance in the last few seasons? Those superweeds as they are called- do they affect you/your area?
Up in Iowa, its been a consistent problem the last handful of years. Ive seen literature from Pioneer, Winfield, and a couple Monsanto subsidiaries that acknowledge the potential issue, but nothing that specifies how they are addressing the issue.

Depends on whether grass has mole crickets

If the grass has mole crickets, the beef will taste bad. Mole Crickets are bad news all around.

How come you people pick and choose which science to follow?

GMOs, vaccines, human caused climate change, evolutionary theory... all have a very firm consensus within the scientific community but I know people that pick and choose which ones to discount as some big fraud, and it's pretty much based on their political leanings to be honest. I mean, if you think all that anti-GMO non sense is well, non sense because the science backs it up, how do you at the same time say climate change is a fraud when the science overwhelmingly backs it up. How do people trust the science of evolution and then not vaccinate their kids because they think scientists are corporate shills? Blows my mind.

Honest answer. The average person doesn't have enough time or science background to really get all the facts on all the issues. To some people, scientists are just like politicians pushing an agenda. It doesn't help that you have politicians using and twisting the science to their benefit. So it leads to a lot of people feeling kind of confused when it comes to these kind of scientific issues. "Who is really telling me the truth?" So they find one person who they trust who is telling them something they like and they go with it. Unfortunately, that is often tied to a political leaning.

The use of antibiotics in non-organic meat is a huge problem.

Oh hell yeah- the antibiotic resistant germs can now affect our meat supply due to overuse during growth periods should be concerning to all.
A buddy of mine grew up on a hog farm- he said he would rather have antibiotics injected so he knows the animal was healthy during growth. Sure, that's an approach one could take, but I would hope that looking at and reading about resistant strains to the antibiotics due to overuse would be a bigger concern.

Got a BS degree. And that ain't a bullsh!t degree.

There is zero proof of global warming first and zero evidence of any increase in warming being man made.

The climate has been changing for 5 billion years and will continue to change for another 5 billion year and a complete fool thinks anyone can stop climate change.

The biggest fraud is the "climate change" bull. When the zealots realized the actual warming was nothing out of the ordinary for the time frame they started the climate change bull hoping the uninformed would jump on board.

BTW, consensus is not equivalent to proof. Most thought the earth was flat once. Didn't make it true.

Science rarely sets out to prove anything. It seeks to explain things as best possible from the gathered facts. But at least you admit the earth is round (sort of... it actually does "flatten" some do the force of rotation) and more than 6,000 years old. There's hope for you yet.

within my lifetime, i was told that we were destined for "another ice age". the science was overwhelming and unquestionably true. within a few short years, ice wasn't the problem, it was the hole in the ozone and we would all burn to death shortly. the science was overwhelming and unquestionably true. they backed off the burning to death and just suggested that it'd get a lot hotter. the science was overwhelming and unquestionably true. now, we end up with snow later (and sometimes earlier) in the winter. the proclamation is no longer "global warming" but "climate change". the science is overwhelming and unquestionably true.

still waiting on that missing link that shows us as developed apes....maybe that's why the term "evolutionary theory" is still used instead of "evolutionary fact"
