Tiger completed 16 holes today at Riv & it got me thinking:

Are pro-am pairings pure luck of the draw? Or is it more like an auction?

Have to think it’s some form of the latter but not quite sure

I think it's more based on status or sponsorship. The more you have the better the pairing
