He can build his brand all he wants now lol. Good thing Lebron left again, because Cleveland isn't big enough for both those egos.

Hopefully they let Peppers play in the box more.

It took the Browns a long time before realizing he’s a liability in coverage against NFL receivers.

He can do well if they make him a “big nickel” on early downs and a cover-2 safety on passing downs.

Would have liked the jets to trade their first round pick for him. Give Sam a weapon he needs. No BOsa available with 3rd pick.

If the Giants let Collins go because they thought he wasn't good at coverage, wait until they see Peppers, lol. Peppers best position is LB, but he's under 5'11".

The good news is that the pressure is now off Gettleman to get a QB, as he won't have anyone to throw to. Eli can execute the dump-offs to Barkley as good as anyone.

Gettleman blew it. He should have stretched the bidding up until the draft. Could have received more back for OBJr

As a 49er fan I am so glad he is not on my team. I hate players like this diva. Good for the giants to move on. He’s not worth the headache. Barkley is a 10 year star player. 2000 yards a season. They can get other receivers that don’t come with the baggage.

Forget about receiving more for OBJ. The problem with this deal is that the Giants won't be getting a game breaker in return, an elite WR that opposing D's will need to game plan around.

Barkley will officially become Barry Sanders. Great RB but team won't be good for foreseeable future. By the time NYG is good, Barkley will be on downside.
Except Barry ran against light boxes.

Recall those Lions ran the Run ‘N Shoot and were trotting our 4 receivers on almost every down.

Barkley is going to get his numbers simply because he’s a once-a-generation talent. But he’s going to earn every single yard.

Why would they even want Peppers? He has no true position in the NFL.

Not sure about that, he was the starting safety , tied for 4th on the team in tackles, tied for the lead in forced fumbles, and was their KR and PR.
Giants needed a replacement for the safety they just let walk.

He was much improved from his rookie year:

"The move to strong safety brought more snaps near the line of scrimmage in 2018, and so far it has been very beneficial for the Michigan product. Peppers is currently playing with a season-long grade of 75.2. The improvement for Peppers has him contributing in an impactful way to the league's 2nd ranked defense according to Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics.

"Let's have a look at some of Peppers' abilities he has put on display close to the line of scrimmage.
It's easy to see the improvements from Peppers as his confidence has climbed closer to the box. His 104 snaps in the box through five games shows he has a much higher level of comfort near that area. His short area processing and strength are on full display. Watch him take on the pull tight end on this Pin/Pull scheme from Baltimore.

He's young and improving.
