Still a horrible FT shooter (58%)... rarely creates shots for himself that will put him on the line... has only taken 12 FTs all season.

It's clear that the rankings gurus missed the boat here. He never should have been ranked in the Top 100 let alone given a 5* star.

Think he always had the tools - but the game never slowed down for him and he looked like a deer in headlights. Seems like it’s clicking for him - who knows, maybe it would have come faster playing alongside Dylan.

Who knows, we really need to add a sniper next year.

They need more than that, an actual big, 2 snipers, a quality PG.

Didnt he have an eye injury his senior year in high school. Maybe that effected things who knowd
It was his junior year.
He averaged 24 points a game in his senior year, so the eye might not have been the problem adjusting to the college game.
Some talented players don't produce right away moving from HS to college, but eventual the talent shows ,( as I know you know . I don't hold a candle to your knowledge when talking college ball. But that doesn't stop me from disagreeing with you at times 😁 )

I think Lino is going to be a very good PG and Dorian might give us a solid shooter. But agree with everything else and our big situation is horrendous and needs to be addressed urgently.

Happy for the kid, but these numbers as a senior, especially only 36% from three for a guy who was billed as one of the nation's best 3-point shooters in his freshman class, are nothing to crow about especially because he is playing outside the power 4. J. Mike, Buchanan and Dylan Grant all shoot it better from 3 playing in the Big 10.

Isn't he a junior?
And I was puzzled by the initial post on X crowing about the numbers. They are "just OK". The OP took a beating on X.
