Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Used to have them in a couple of Bosselmans Pump and Pantry's in Grand Island. They replaced them with Quiznos. The chicken was good, a little Cajun flavor, juicy and huge pieces. A little pricey but a lot of chicken for the cost.
I think there are still 2 kkc in pump & pantry but can't remember the locations (sorry). There is one in Mullen.

There used to be a place just east of Salina Ks that made the best fried chicken I can’t remember the name and like a good percentage of places covid ruined the business so they might not be in business anymore

I think Jack and Mary's, out in Miracle Hills, was a COVID casualty as well. They had some solid fried chicken.

39 million years ago i would stop at a place called "trackside lounge" ? on my way to Aksarben. i think that was the name of it.

Any way i would get a half chicken fried and it would scald your face when you eat it if you werent careful ---very good fried chicken.
It's still around .I had wings a few years back and they we're excellent.

I heard good things about Big Mama's in North O. Alpine inn is good. Publix stores down south are good.
Big Mama's is Legit, went there a couple times. I've had Chix & Waffles 1 time in my life. I stopped there and figured that was as good as it getz.

It’s called Tracks Lounge and yes it is very good also. Kind of cool as it’s basically just a large old house on 60th street with the bar/restaurant operating out of the basement.

Back in the late 70's, early 80's, Church's Chicken showed up in Thornton, Colorado. In the beginning it was quite good, got lousy as the years went on.

On our way to the Calamus reservoir we stop at a grocery store on the north side of Ord that makes very good fried chicken.
