The torch in men’s tennis has officially been passed to these 2 guys, and man is it gonna be fun for the next 5+ years. One of the best matches I’ve seen in years. About to go into a 5th set tiebreak for the title.

And congrats to Coco Gauff, who won the women’s title yesterday — first American to win in Paris since Serena in 2015.

That was a great final. Up there with Fed-Djoker Wimbledon 2019. May be the best ever in time. The only knock was that pretty much everyone predicted that if Sinner did not win in 3, Alcaraz would win in 5. I love the fight in Carlos. He's definitely in much better shape now with limited cramping.

I made the same comment to my wife this weekend about these 2 being the next Gen version of Nadal, Roger & Novak.

Interesting that these two have passed the so called "lost boys" -Tsitsi, Zverev Rublev--who were caught between the big 3 and where we are now, and have never had their times as champions. Appears we have proceeded from the Big 3 to this new era of Sinner, Alcaraz and whoever next pops up.
