If you don’t have a water mgt system none will warranty their work. Just be careful there
Yeh. We bought a house knowing it was gonna need a little work. First thing we did was add some gutters where there weren’t any. The house went 16 years without gutters all around. Just wanting someone to vouch for anyone who has hD foundation work done.

Thanks.

Sort of a parallel - but in Madison (Alabama) my next door neighbor just had AFS spend two full days stabilizing his foundation. They spent all day Saturday working on the living part of the house that I can't see, and finished up in the garage area late this afternoon. There is visible "settling" on the bricks in the garage area to the point they windows can't be fully closed, and there's a sizable crack at the top of the closed garage door, something I can see from my window. The cracks are still there after they finished. So I suppose it was just a stabilization thing, not actually moving things back into place.

Soil here is the infamous north Alabama red clay that's unstable from wet to dry. It could be exacerbated by lousy construction as well.

I can't imagine what that cost. It had to be very, very expensive.
