In case you didn't know - and judging by the lack of discussion you did - State Spring practice begins tomorrow.

Then no practice for two weeks. Supposedly it will be a "Know Your Defensive Coaches Wednesday" and "How to Party Properly Pensicola (and don't you dare take your wife to Destin)"

The Big Question will be whether Merlin will tell DWilliams that the QB job is his to lose.

For 5 other questions facing the Bulldogs this spring, listen to Paul Jones with Dick & Wyatt:

Miss. State Pro Day is Thursday @9:00 on the WatchESPN app.

You didn't mention Country Music, Nude Reporters, Dog Breeds, Ole Miss Sanctions, Malik "Should he stay or should he go" Newman, Fast Food Fisticuffs, or Bunting. This thread has no tread.**

You conveniently left out "Public Defecation". Dear Lord that was actually a thread! But everyone has a right to practice what they will---and I have the right to say that those people are pretty 17ing sick!

At QB we are in pretty good shape---Staley or Fitzgerald should be good options. I am more interested in someone / anyone stepping up at RB. We know we get good speed and receiving from Hollaway but we desperately need someone to get the hard yards between the Tackles and not to go down at 1st contact (because blocking may still be an issue).

Yep. QB is the least of my worries. Fitz will probably win the job, but Staley will push him hard. Either way, we'll be in pretty good shape there. It'll be a step down from Dak for sure, but still better than 90% of our football history. OL and RB are a real concern though. Need some guys to step up at both positions.

I don't think I've ever seen a poorer running attack than we had last year. State was usually guaranteed a bruiser back and a decent DL.

1. Our O Line sucked.
2. Hev sucks at recruiting and is an ***.
3. Mullen likely realizes #1, but will do nothing about it because Hev is his boy.
4. Mullen's modification is to send Holloway hauling *** to "hit the hole really fast" in hopes of our **** O Line holding a block for 2 seconds.
5. This modification worked some of the time, enough for us as fans to say, "Wow, Holloway actually does good sometimes?"
6. There were too many negative plays because of O Line suckage, Holloway failures because he is 160 lbs, and Shump touches.
7. The appropriate modification is to relieve Hev, bring in a coach that CAN recruit and for whom recruits WILL play. I am afraid Mullen is too stubborn to demote/fire McHevesy. Will it be his downfall? Dak won't be here to bail us out this year with his superior decision making. I am worried.

Per Boner, Staley has a hamstring (limited) and Ross has a groin (out for spring).

Staley's injuries are putting him further behind Fitzgerald. Fitz already enrolled early and practiced a full Spring Semester and Summer before Staley got on campus---now is the second Spring session that Staley has been limited by injuries. I hate it because I think long term Staley is the better option at QB for us.

I see you made a mistake and put a WR on your list**

Looks like Josh Robinson but wants to be Josh Gordon

Hey Sally, you know what they say about you: "Silly Sally went to town walking backwards upside down!" Author unknown but on point and obviously meant for you!

I don't know whether you're being facetious or not, but I agree with everything you said.
