I'm guessing we're going to find out that he has mental illness issues. And/or is on the spectrum. What 22 year old thinks his parents being worth $2M is enough money to allow him to go around grabbing tits.

Have a colleague that has trouble with his young adult son. Not exactly sure what all is going on besides being on the spectrum, but he has problems with him threatening violence. I think it's actually harder for him because much of the time his son seems fine. He definitely comes off as weird and people probably pick up that he's on the spectrum, but he seems like he'd be extremely high functioning and just socially awkward, and then it's jarring to people when they experience his outbursts for the first time.

First off if you brag about your parents being millionaires why the 17 are you flying Frontier? He got what he deserved.

I have flown Frontier only once for one leg of a flight from Memphis to Denver. The plane was then continuing to LA after that. After sitting in the gate and only being on the plane for boarding, I booked my return flight home with delta before the door was closed. I kid you not the gate area and the flight was a complete **** show.

I fly a lot. I've flown with them a couple times and had zero issues. If you don't care where your seat is and don't have much luggage, it's really not a bad deal. I avoid AA like the plague but I'll take a direct Frontier flight under the right circumstances.

I haven't flown Frontier, but my biggest issue with them would be the limited number of flights. If your flight gets delayed or cancelled, you could be stuck for a couple of days.

I spent a day flying frontier once. Portland Or. to Denver to Orlando to Jackson. $111. It was miserable but the price was right.

If they brought back the direct flight from Jackson to Denver I'd be all over it though.

Competition from discount airlines has driven airfare so low that (in some cases) it enables people who should not be able to fly to fly. Add that to society no longer policing itself and lack of accountability, this type stuff will happen more and more. How long before someone tries to open an exterior door in flight?

Bragging about being worth 2mil? It's not 1980, virtually anyone who maxes out a 401k for 25 years (with a decent employer match) is a millionaire.

Same here. Flown with Frontier a number of times between DFW and Denver. No issues. All airlines have their good days and bad. If your lucky, you hit the good days.

They need to do something so passengers don't have easy access to that door lever.

They can't open it unless it's at extremely low elevation. At 36,000' that door has 20,000+ lbs of force against it from cabin pressurization.

So if you see an idiot trying to open the door at cruising altitude, tell everyone around you to chill and watch them struggle. Now if you see someone trying to bust open a window, it's time to go Passenger 57 on that ***. The windows are the weakest link.

$1M in 1980 is worth just under $3.3M today. That would let you take just under $132k a year using the 4% rule.

I pretty much always book based on price, so I can't complain that airlines don't compete on much other than price, but I would support an airplane that just had a dresscode on flights. Not that I really care what other people wear, but I think just setting an expectation that you aren't going to wear pajamas or gym clothes would on average result in more courteous passengers that treat the whole experience as something more than a bus that flies. You'd still get some entitled dipshits, but I think the level of *** holery would be decreased just by setting an expectation that it's a semi-professional setting.
