Not sure if this has been discussed but I'm currently downloading the app. Does sixpack have a specific room or lobby set up? What are the overall opinions of this thing. It looks fun. Who's all currently running it?

Actually, Lettuce... FireFan rocks! It's the first ever, live, Interactive, global sports app. You can use my player rewards code if you haven't already downloaded it: Rehydrate ; Look for me in the app, under my username Ohsusieque. I run a league called Members Only. Right now, it's NFL, with NBA right around the corner...but, NCAA basketball is RUMORED, with a DEFINITIVE YES on NCAA Football next Fall.
Appreciate the info. Unfortunately the site/app appears to be going through some construction as it was unavailable in some aspects. I'll check back with it in a couple of days. Cool concept, however.

It's your classic pyramid model. It was built up to be the best thing ever. I was asked early on to be an affiliate. Pay 39.99 up front and 9.99 a month once the game was launched. I signed up and wisely boughed out before the app was launched. I simply didnt have any time to dedicate to it. From the reviews I've read, they have stumbled out of the gate. I guess it could get better but to be built up so much, it sure didnt look that great to me.

I am the one who paid to have the firefan ad on here. I wanted to support the site and thought(hoped) some of you might like the game. It’s still in BETA mode and has had some rough spots during the launch. That’s why you saw the ad go away for a few weeks. There were just too many kinks in it so I had the ad removed until it’s running better.
The folks that run the company did set it up to where there is incentive for affiliates to share/promote the game. Just like any sales job… they pay you to promote a product or service. I only get paid if you play the game which means you have to like it. You can download it for free and the first game is free when you put in the promo code GETSTARTED or register through one of the links below. You all would have to spend $1000’s for me to even come close to getting my ad payment back. However, if each of you that liked it….shared it with 10 people that you think may like it...then I may start to get somewhere. You do get free play credit when you share the game through the app and they will doing ads where you can earn credits by watching.
About the game:
They basically pop up questions about what will happen during the game. You answer and score points based on your answers.
It is still in beta mode so there are parts that suck but improvements are being made and features are being added.
In live games, there are picks every drive. I think there will be some options for quarter picks in the future. (it’s evolving in Beta and each sport will be set up differently)
It’s probably not for everyone and I don’t think everyone will like it but I think some will.
The two ways that I think folks will enjoy the game:

- Playing with groups of friends or family. (and that group possibly have a prize)
- Playing with “mvp’s” like Brian Urlacher. He sometimes gives away free signed gear to the winner of his games. The list of MVPs is on the app and is growing. A few MVP’s on there now are names like: Evander Holyfield, T-Roy Broussard, Manny Pacquia, Kevin Garnett….ect.
