milk duds, dots and mini tootsie rolls are definitely in the running, but probably topped by malted milk balls

Your question was favorite "Halloween" candy... Id have to say "Nerds".... One can always get a standards such as Snickers/M&M's/etc but nerds are a different kind of candy and so it used to be when my kids would bring them home that I'd have to steal a box or two from them

Snickers, Butterfingers, krackle, three musketeers, Hershey bar were the biggies when I was trick or treating. Snickers being my favorite. However, the best treat was the house's that had popcorn balls. Amazing how many variations those ladies would make

Favorite, Almond Joy.

I never buy these but always raid them from the bag we buy from the store.

M&Ms are a hard pass.

Whatever you do don't pass out dum dums to the children. I did this year and 4 kids gave them back to me and asked for something else.

Sad... :/ back when I and sibs were going, 90s, we were just happy to find a welcoming door!!

Passing back candy never crossed my mind... how rude!

I was just happy to meet my neighbors and they gave me candy and they seemed nice to me!!!

We used to go for blocks and such out of the way and we always thanked the people for whatever they gave!! I always thought I was so lucky to get anything, that every house was cleaned out!! Many times they were, but to see happy faces it felt good!
