It's a POS. Who wants an electric pick-up truck? Obviously, not many.
LOL…EVs are such a waste and the furthest thing from environmentally friendly or climate chage “fighters”. Google how much ore has to be extracted to generate ONE stinking ev batter set up…not to mention what nasty stuff they generate when they burn! Net zero morons are so gullible.

it’s still the best selling EV truck and sold almost twice as many compared to Tesla in the 3rd
qtr. Tough investment decision. Seems like they should be able to continue production at a lower volume somewhere. Gas prices will eventually spike again or there will be a major disruption and EVs will get some love. Almost half the vehicles sold in China are evs. US automakers still need to become more competitive at it or rely on protectionism to survive.

Wasn’t really my intent. I was happily surprised that it was doing much better than the cyber truck.
It’s really hard to justify an EV pickup now, but keeping this model around now that it has been developed might pay off later.

Makes you wonder when Tesla pulls the plug on the CT. They should just kill the S and X too. YTD, sales on those 3 models are less than 40k.
The S though is a very attractive vehicle.

The CT isn't a truck. It's a unique entity that shouldn't be compared with anything else (for good and bad).
Big difference with the S and X.....TSLA actually makes money on those models (unlike the Lighting).
What a boondoggle for Ford:
F-150 Lightning sales this year through October are roughly level compared with a year earlier at only 24,577 units. Since going on sale in 2022 in the U.S., Ford has sold less than 100,000 F-150 Lightning models.
The Lightning is produced at a facility connected to a large F-150 production plant in metro Detroit.
Ford’s EV operations, including the Lightning, have lost the company billions of dollars annually in recent years.

And you should. I love it. However Ford did a bad job of marketing. Most of the people that ask me about it had no idea ford makes a fully electric pickup.

. CT is actually a stainless steel dumpster with wheels. No rivals!!!!S and X don’t make money for Tesla. Why do you think their profit margins now 5.31% on TTM basis.
Stick to the it’s not a car company line.
What, there’s a lot of people that own them and live nowhere near an open desert. Very fun vehicle.
