The problem is that there's been no adjudication of innocence or guilt, so this state official is using her own judgement of guilt. That's not how it works in this country. Pure politics.
Put another way, there is sufficient evidence that Biden traded political influence for money from foreign powers. High crimes and misdemeanors while in office. Should Biden be removed from state ballots based on supposition?

The Maine official is required within five working days of responding to the request that was filed. The official reviewed the evidence, which is a matter of public record, and made her finding. States are allowed considerable latitude by the constitution about running elections in article 1 section 4 of the constitution. If that same official received a request about Bidens eligibility she would have to review the evidence within five days and make a finding.
So what is the problem?
Not sure you read my post. Habeas corpus. Where is the body? No adjudication of guilt means no basis for removal from the ballot. If you are accused of rape how about the judge just sentences you based on the accusation. Now you're in prison and you're asking, but wait, don't I get a trial?
I don't really care what the Democrat AG thinks, it's illegal and the SC will strike it down. There's a reason why the CO AG folded like a cheat suit and the Maine AG is going to find it out.

That is her judgment, and she has the right and responsibility to make that judgment according to Maine election laws . The Colorado Supreme Court has made the same judgment, the Michigan Supreme Court has made an opposite judgment.
Facism is not accepting the results of an election and trying to reverse it through violence when even your own party accepts the results.

Forcible suppression as in inciting an armed mob to storm the capitol because you lost an election and over 60 lawsuits trying to contest that election.
Not the same as a state Supreme Court and a Secretary of State making a ruling on the law.

Think about this for a second-the only Republican that Sleepy Joe can beat is Trump, because of all his legal issues, genuine fear that he is an autocrat, former WH officials that speak against him (Barr, Maddis) etc. That’s why the liberal press opines that SCOTUS should reverse Colorado and keep him on the ballot. What’s wrong with Haley?-strong on defense, Strong against Russia and China, Strong on border control, and no legal entanglements.

there was some crazy homeless guy trying to live in south Lincoln in his van. i told him to leave, he tried giving me some sob story about how his house burned down, and his dad passed away, and his wife and child left him.
i said to him, "bummer, but you can't be here". he said he was trying to get to pennsylvania. I'm just glad he moved his ****, what a mess. zero tolerance is the only path forward.
