I’m kind of fond of democracy. I think I’m going to miss it.
You may want to ponder why a nation that America is "giving" billion our tax money to defend "democracy" that has suspend elections in their country until "total victory" and invasion for past losses in sovereignty decades ago.

England didn’t have elections during the second world war. Try again.

I was killing time waiting for a flight out of a neighboring B1G city. In a park I observed two women, one brunette, one blonde walking on opposite sides of a small waterway.
Brunette to the blonde: Is there a bridge to the other side of this canal?
Blonde: Well Duh, you are already on the other side.

A Priest walking down the street bore witness to a boy beating his head with a hammer.
Priest: My, son why do beat yourself like that?
Boy: Because it feels so good when I stop Father.

A Coed east of the Missouri River after having sex:
Who were those guys?

Two wild and crazy guys from a B1G city took their daddy's guns into the park to go "huntin'". They came upon two beautiful girls laying on a blanket.
Wild & crazy guys: Are you girls game?
Girls: Yes.
They shot them.

Four guys east of Omaha were hunting for deer with no success. They decided to split up for better coverage. One of them later felt a bowel movement and inadvertently squatted over a game trap that turd triggered on the family jewels. He bellowed like a cow in a head gate. The others rushed to his location and heard a bellow far worse than the first. They relieved of his predicament.
Why two yells they asked. "The first was when the trap closed, the 2nd was when I hit the end of the chain."
The toothbrush was invented in Iowa. Had it been invented anywhere else, it'd be the teethbrush.

The entire world got to see how despicable and full of hate they are on Tuesday night. Not standing for a kid with cancer? Not standing for the mother's of murdered daughters? They are pure filth. Everyone saw it. Their party is dead and buried. It's beautiful.
Patience. The pendulum always swings back.

Honest question. If Trump refuses to leave office in 4 years, will you support that?

Also, he is killing my investments and making things more expensive at the same time..
Your investments were propped up by government spending . Biden spent his entire four years spending above 120% of GDP.

Trump is shrinking the government and there will be pain!! Good news is it should bring back purchasing power for the middle class

Wait a minute. Aren't you the guy who was really upset about ONE year where the market was down 20%? Now you have already not only rationalized a possible stock market downturn, you managed to spin it as a positive? This is why extremism is so rampant these days.

I also find it amusing how you interpreted what you want out this graph while ignoring the big picture:

- the highest year ever was Trump in 2020. A president of the used to be fiscally conservative party.

- You conveniently didn't include 2013 or 2014. Look at how spending rose under Trump. Obama was more fiscally conservative than Trump.

- The continuing resolution congress is trying to pass will set spending levels at 2024 levels. So basically Joe Biden levels. Spending isn't going down by any significant amount. It's being re-shuffled. Which is fine, but people need to quit acting like there are going to be huge savings.

The republican party isn't going to move back to being more fiscally conservative if people keeping voting for free spenders. Newsflash - spending the same or a tiny bit less than Joe Biden isn't some great moment for a republican president. That's called lowering the bar.

yes, the market being down 20% with 10% inflation is really really bad. The market being down and deflation is really good for the middle class. Sorry your brain can’t comprehend the differences.

2020 spending was due to states shutting down. I don’t agree with it, but at least a reason. Biden continued to spend like we were in Covid.

Obama was president in 2016 dumb dumb.

dude was impeached twice. The first time for withholding aid to a country that we agreed to protect in exchange for giving up their nuclear weapons to the country they were trying to defend themselves against. Second time he was impeached was for a coordinated effort to overturn the vote. That time lots of his co-conspirators (Powell, Eastman, etc.) ended up convicted, and rioters he provoked to riot ended up in jail.

What Russian bot did you get that last tidbit of information from? care to divulge what the information is-I don’t pay attention to Twitter. It’s a waste of time.
> call the cops on neighbor twice
> cops do nothing, as neighbor did nothing wrong
> fast forward years later, neighbor is having Super Bowl party
> furiously bang on door screaming “don’t you know the cops were called on him twice”
> wonder why nobody cares

spoiler alert, that’s exactly how you sound

The data source charged to back more than 10 years

Here’s Fred. It’s not what you were hoping for. Obummer was handed 70% debt to GDP and skyrocketed it up to over 105%. Trump was able to reverse Obummer’s trend but the China virus ruined everything

You are cherry picking stats while flip flopping around about the stock market. Acting like the sky fell with a bad year for your 401k, while already putting a positive spin on potential future losses. Screams drama and inexperience to me.

Elon is a clown. What 10 or 11 children by three or four different mothers at least?
Builds a pick up truck-practically the simplest damn car ever made, and it can’t tow anything, carry anything, or handle rough weather like hail, because the front windshield is flat, unlike every other car manufacturer that makes them with a curve, which makes them guess what – stronger!

The problem for your theory is that in fact there’s been built in spending increases year after year even if Congress does nothing. Freezing spending at least stops the growth of spending pending other legislation. We HAVE get our financial house in order. There is no other option. IF we don’t we’re headed for the end of our country.

Agree. But there is a guaranteed 2 year window to get that spending down and make a difference. Passing a CR that is basically set at FY24 levels, while raising the debt ceiling is not some great victory. That is the same old ****. That is my point. Everyone is so focused on f Biden that they can't see the forest and realize nothing has changed, at this point. 1 Congressman, house guy from Kentucky, knows how nonsense this is. The other "fiscal conservatives" have fallen in line.

Barely beating the spending from Trumps last year and Bidens 4 years, and people are already starting with excuses. And now people are already starting with excuses they may not even need for the market and the economy. Crazy town.

Fiscal conservatism has always been a con. There has never been a big appetite for cutting spending. The problem is the majority want and like govt services, they just don’t want to pay the taxes required for it.

I think the majority think its bloated and needs to be slimmed some. I do not think the majority think it is a gigantic waste. If they did, you would see congress proposing to cut more.

Congress doesn’t care what we think. Truth always comes out. Can’t wait for the public to find out elections are a scam.

I used to think the Cybertruck was all kinds of badass...here it is on Hell's Gate in Moab, maybe the most famous off road climb in the world...then I learned the angle of the windshield is all wrong...now I'm reconsidering my whole life and choices...

i have a thought exercise for you.

make a list of billionaires who have never created jobs.

then make another list of poor people who have created jobs (no, you can't pick yourself).

could be good for you.

poor dope (not you) has been educated to think rich people are all evil, that they should share their wealth, and that they didn't work for what they have.

I could care less what Elon thinks of anybody. Although he has created a lot of jobs for people. But I know who cares right? My question is. Why are democrats so scared and concerned about what he and Doge is doing unless they have something to hide? Very concerning democrats are more concerned about Elon over eliminating wasteful spending. And not the wasteful spending itself.
