OT: Einstein's Brain & Napolean's Penis

[[email protected]]

According to a History Channel program (51 facts about the US)...both the items mentioned in the topic thread are housed in New Jersey.

The penis was purchased by a Urologist who kept it under his bed for 30 years and upon his death was kept by his daughter (Evan) who may have auctioned it in 2015-16?

Einstein's brain was apparently cut in half...but both seem to be in NJ.

PS I am posting this party because it was unique....and the other reason is that I have no idea who or when an OC will be named. What are we waiting for....Einstein / Bonerpart to reclaim their long lost parts?

They saved Hitler's brain. I saw a movie about it in 1968.

Interesting article.

At one time the older Bonaparte's 2nd home was considered to the be the 2nd best house in America....next to the White House!

Nice!

I had always heard Einstein was cremated because he was afraid people would rob his grave to look at his brain.

I did find this tidbit about his brain on google:

Einstein died in April 1955 from an abdominal aortic aneurysm. He had requested that his body be cremated, but in a bizarre incident, Princeton pathologist Thomas Harvey removed his famous brain during his autopsy and kept it in the hope of unlocking the secrets of his genius

Albert Einstein's Brain. The Mütter Museum is one of only two places in the world where you can see pieces of Albert Einstein's brain. Brain sections, 20 microns thick and stained with cresyl violet, are preserved in glass slides on display in the mainMuseum Gallery.
