Can they make a CFB Playoff appearance if they beat 6-0 Fla State tonight? They'd be 7-1 and have this schedule remaining:

@ Louisville (6-1)
vs Wake (3-3)
@ No. Carolina (6-0)
@ Virginia (1-5)
vs Pitt (2-4)

Tough journey. I'd imagine their head coach would be hotter than ever to be snagged away.

Elko is getting a ton of opportunities after this year no matter what. He has built a tough hard nosed team. They can play with anybody.

Haven’t watched them this year? How is there depth? Seems to always be the Achilles of non traditional powers

ACC is interesting with Clemson & Miami seemingly out of the championship race early. Two undefeated teams + Two 1-loss teams. Lot's of big games mid-season will decide it.

The physicality of the team is what is so impressive.
Watching Nebraska, coaching physicality is definitely a thing, especially Coach White's defense. Coach Raiola could learn a thing or two from that style. Obviously, Coach Elko and staff are having a similar affect on the Blue Devils.

Elko is who I wanted Nebraska to get even because of how quickly he flipped this team with guys already on the roster. They sucked before he got there, especially on defense. I am hoping Duke can somehow sign him to a big money extension and keep him there long enough until the Big 10 comes calling.

Not a good 4th qtr for Duke without starting QB Leonard in the game.

"He worked on the sideline to show team trainers he could play, but coach Mike Elko declined to put him back in the game. The Blue Devils managed just 35 yards after Leonard left the game and backup quarterback Henry Belin replaced him."

Fla St. scored 21 unanswered to take the ACC contest 38-20.

I'd say you have to be a pretty good coach if you can make Duke a top 25 team.
