Sports and sporting events are my brief escape away from the hectic and divisive society we live in. Therefore, I have two wishes: (1) politics should be prohibited topic on sports discussion boards and (2) politicians should stay the hell away from interjecting themselves into athletic events. Nothing good is accomplished by mixing the two IMO.
