A massive fire destroyed one of Canada's top training facility and stable. Classy Lane Stables and Training facility burned to the ground Monday killing 43 standardbred horses. Among them was champion Apprentice Hanover and other race horses such as Penji Hanover who both raced at the Meadowlands. Three miniature horses also were killed. The horses most likely suffocated before they perished. Cause of the fire is still under investigation. Cost of the devastation could reach 5 million dollars.
