OT: Deefield Golf Course vandalism

Last night someone drove their truck all over the green on #15 tearing up the whole thing. A police report has been filed and I have a video on my iphone but cannot get it to upload(any help with that would be appreciated). If anyone has any information feel free to PM me.

That's my hood! They caught a kid who did that same thing to #3 about 1995 or so. He had the privilege of working with the green's keeper for free that entire summer.

I'm sure there is at least one yeti sticker, a costa sticker, more than likely the duck head sticker with the fish hook embedded in it, and a 62" light bar across the top. Oh and pipes you can stick a size 3 soccer ball in.

That's awful. The culprit needs his *** kicked and should be given a haircut that matches the green.

That does suck. That happened once at my club, but just the top 1/4 of the green. We were able to play while they sanded and it filled in. The club had a good idea who did it(a teen), but no hard proof and nothing came of it.

How long will it take to fix something like that? I'm guessing some people wouldn't think that it looks so bad but I'm sure there's some pretty intricate repair work that needs to be done.

Re-sod the damaged areas, sand, aerate, restrict play. They are supposed to host the US amateur qualifier soon also. Going to be a big blow for that.
