"December 26, 1872, 150 years ago today, New Brunswick, NJ and the surrounding area experience a violent snowstorm with 20 inches accumulation. Weather data compiled by P. Vanderbilt Spader at his home at the corner of George and Church Streets. In his notes, he says it’s the worst storm since January 1857."
