In case you know anyone that uses mass transit, DeCamp is suspending service due to huge drop in riders from Chinese coronavirus.

When I was in high school, we always traveled to games on a DeCamp bus. Those were like going in a limo. Once in a while they gave us regular school busses. Those were horrible.

I'm not sure if saying "Chinese Coronavirus" means you're racist, but it definitely means you're a d-bag. No, on second thought, I'm quite sure... It makes you racist.

That doesn't make a person a racist. Infectious diseases throughout history have been named for geographic locations where they were thought to have originated: Spanish flu, West Nile virus, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, Zika and Ebola, to name a few. Have you ever uttered any of those words? Ever?

sure but that was then. It's 2020, facts don't matter as much as feelings. Not the feelings of the Chinese but kids living in their mom's basements who look for things to be angry about.

That's a good point, but the simple fact of using that term doesn't make someone a racist, which was the point I was making. We as a society have gotten way too soft.

i agree with you 100%. I'm just pointing out the reality of the situation. It's no different than all the fake racism charges. When proven to be false, we are told, even though it didn't happen it was still important to make believe it did so we could have a discussion about the event that never happened

People have gone out of their way not to call it the China Virus.

So much so that if you do call it that, it puts it into question why.

It’s like you’re going out of your way to make it a point to call it China Virus when you can simply use the term nearly everyone else is using.

The Spanish Flu wasn’t even from Spain.

Ironic how the Spanish media being proactive to report the story ended up getting their country's namesake slapped with the label of the virus. For shame. Talk about a media credit you would prefer to decline.

It's his new schtick. Trolling the boards like when he used to hawk Rutgers apparel all the time. Must need the attention.
