Not sure if allowed. Curious what everyone’s favorite daily carry pistol is? Mine use to be my M&P 9mm shield but I recently picked up a Glock G17 Gen5 9mm and I love it.

Ruger LCP II .380 in front pocket holster. And just for grins, a .45 in the car if I go ANYWHERE.

If you don't carry a Colt Anaconda 44 Magnum, why even get your pathetic *** out of bed?

Ruger EC9S 9mm...a great concealed carry option. $270 at Academy Sports.
Glock 17 9mm for going to the range with the guys and home protection.

KelTec .380 in my car locally, but heavier hardware when I travel. Wife keeps a Ruger .22 Magnum in her car. Not the hardest hitting piece, but the kick is more to her liking.

See if you can find her something that isn't rimfire. Rimfire rounds are inherently unreliable.

Glock 17 is likely the gold standard for handguns, good for carrying exposed on the hip, but too big to be concealed carried by most. I'm also a big fan of the Canik 9mm, but it has a large frame. Due to size a Glock 42 (.380) is a good EDC. I only carry in the woods or in a high treat situation (which i try to stay out of). I keep a Glock 17 in my driver's side a door pocket and a .410 shotgun behind the seat. I also keep a cheap Taurus in my truck in case i need a throw down weapon.

I have never owned or used a hand gun. And I have managed to live 68 years. Guess I've just been lucky.

It varies from season to season depending on wardrobe. Smallest, North American Arms 22 revolver. Kahr CW380. Kimber Solo 9mm/ SIG 938 9mm. Kimber Ultra Raptor 45. Les Baer Comanche 1911. I'm going to be armed but comfortable.

Although certified to do so, I do not carry. However I have a Colt 38 Special that is as good a pistol as I have ever shot. Very accurate...also very loud!

Maybe might be best to move out in the country and just fire the pistol at turtles and not be concerned.

All of you that keep guns in your truck, Do you keep a trigger lock or similar on it? I’d be nervous that a darn kid would pick it up

Nope. And I also have several loaded weapons in my house that don't have trigger locks. My kids have grown up around weapons and have been taught from day one they are a tool, but one that can have deadly consequences if you 17 around with them so leave them alone unless you have been given specific permission otherwise.

If you have young kids, this is something to consider. Mine are not young and I keep my trucked locked when a weapon is inside. I don't carry hot.

We do not have kids in the house but I’m cognizant of visitors. If you ever come into my home and see a gun, assume it’s loaded with one in the pipe. I was raised to assume every gun was loaded and treat every gun as if it is. I can still remember my dad making me unload a gun and cross a barber wire fence over and over again until I did it to suit him. I can’t climb over or under a fence to this day without remembering that day fifty some odd years ago.

My five year old is well aware of my weapons and how they work. I keep them hot at all times and locked far and away from his access.

I split time between 2. When I have to do an IWB I have a Walther PPS M2 9mm. When I can wear a jacket or at least on overshirt I carry my Walther PPQ M2 9mm in a shoulder rig. With that I have more in the clip and can carry more clips. I also have a viridian laser sight with the instant on holster on the PPQ. The trigger and usage is basically the same between the two.
