OT: Clarksdale advice needed

Gonna be in town tomorrow and for a few weeks working. Craving some catfish, any ideas on where to find some good fried catfish tomorrow. And as days go on, other than Abe’s which I’ve had a ton and love, whats good to eat at lunch?

Not sure about Catfish but normally when I am in Clarksdale I either eat Abe's, the Dutch Oven or Resthaven. Resthaven has good Kibbe. Dutch Oven is a Mennonite place downtown and the lunch specials are good and you can get pies/casseroles to take home and they are great.

I haven't been in a couple of years but Stone Pony was pretty good too. Watch your back man Clarksdale can be kind of sketchy

The Ranchero has catfish.

Best bet for catfish is The Ranchero. They also do ribs and steaks.
D_O_G has some good recommendations there. Rest Haven is also the spot for breakfast.
Definitely hit up Ground Zero for a plate lunch. If whomever you are working with is a Country Club member, it’s very good too, for lunch or dinner.

Glad to know The Ranch is still open. How many times has it burned down? When I was little, I loved their ribs. Loved them so much I had my 4th grade birthday dinner there.

I love that place, but damn it's sneaky expensive. Every time I go back home and eat there, I'm astounded at how much it costs. It's good food, but their prices are 15-20% more than what I think it should be.
