OT. Christmas card

My wife has a big family and we get a ton of cards with pictures we display on the fridge. Just got one from her cousin who went to PSU and is dating a football player. We open the envelope and it's Christian Hackenburg. So I put an R over his face. Lol

Her cousin is dating Hackenberg or are you telling us that PSU sells Hackenberg themed holiday cards a full year after he was even on the team?

Let me tell you the cult is a creepy place. I am not sure why or how I was chosen but 9 PSU football players, all seniors, requested to be connected to me on LinkedIn this week. I get connection requests every year from friends of my kids or kids I coached in the past or worked with in scouting but this was very random. No mutual connections, not local to me, nothing. Very weird, but not un-cult like.

She is dating him. Family that has met him said he's a nice guy. I still hate him! Lol

Since this thread is already OT... I have an annual tradition of having something RU related on our holiday card. Usually a pic from a game. Anyone else do the same?

Wasn't there a post three or four years ago about someone talking to a girl who was dating him, and how she said he was going to be a high draft pick?

Haha. Nope- Our card is sent and RU is displayed prominently. Rough season but those pics still remind me of some fun times had with friends.

Its the lost in translation that occurs when there is a female to female connection. "She dates a baseball player or something like that..."

So given the lack of information, you assume its some putz who plays in a men's league....turns out to be Matt Harvey.

Assuming it's the same girl, she played lacrosse at PSU. Also was a pretty good soccer player at Toms River North.
