She reminded me of Joe Satriani, who can run scale after scale and lose you in his technical ability, but never find the 3 chords that make a rock....ROCK!

Chaka has got the chops...she just didn't know what to do with them: like find the freaking melody.

Chaka looks pretty good for mId 60's.
But who the hell is her musical director? The arrangement was like a jigsaw cryptogram... annoying, puzzling and takes time to solve it.
Music, imo opinion hits you and you either resonate with it...hate it or you're indifferent. The last two are almost the same.
