OT - C Spire TV

Does anyone have C Spire TV? Pros/Cons. Wife is busting my balls about switching from Xfinity to CSpire. Before I switch I would like to know it's worth it.

I have it. I like it. I can use the firestick phone app to directly enter the channel. Cant do
that with the normal firestick remote. No previous button but they keep your recent channels readily available. Moved from
uverse which att is obviously getting away from. Ive studied it all. Hulu and youtube just wont cut it for us. And i
refuse to go back to comcast. This was the best option for us

I have a buddy that uses it,

I hate it.

He hates it. Trying to appease his wife.

Last conversation I had with him, a few days ago, likely gone.

And eventually it will be.

I couldn’t tell much of a difference in Cspire vs Hulu/YTTV other than price (at the time I switched).

Had it for a year or so and switched to you tube tv about 6 months ago. You tube was cheaper and offered everything we need.

Have it, love it, comcrap sucks. It’s fiber. It’s underground. About as much (Price) as Comcast, but much better service. Only have tv and interwebz. No fancy hula girls, but wife has been working from home with it for most of the year and no problems.

I have it and I am real happy with it. I got the wifi position where I can take a TV anywhere out front, out back, garage, anywhere. I can even move the fire stick if I wanted to a different TV. Only downside is it updates but they are done around 3:00 to 7:00 in the morning if they are going to up date.

I’ve looked into it recently because it’s available at my house now. I’m thinking of swapping to the internet but the TV portion is more expensive than Hulu live, so I can’t see switching that part.

What do people dislike about the tv? I havent noticed

I have it. I like it. Part of the experience may be what you are using to stream it. I’m using the Apple TV 4K and the remote works great with it in my opinion.

also, there was a definite difference in picture quality going from Direct TV to CSpire TV. It was noticeably better with CSpire TV.

Only knock I have is not being able to stream live TV away from home. But that’s probably common among the streaming TV services.
