And that arm thing Kimbrel does is weird. From a few years ago:

I don't know about that. The bats got the Yankees far.
Mets have pitching (except a bullpen), but no bats. That did not serve them well.

Can you say deGrom WAS THERE for the taking??? Don't worry, they'll strip the farm of all their supposed depth this winter. If in fact the talent is really there, they would have parted with one or two major league ready players and maybe one of the young studs already up. If it was any other team other than the Mets, they would have, but their arrongance towards the Mets keep them from that.
