OT: Book Recommendation

The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles. What a good one. Great storytelling. Adventure. A little bit of darkness. Clever. It's like Tom Sawyer meets Shawshank. Set in the 50's.

I don't want to give anything away, better not knowing what to expect. But please give it a read if you are looking for something entertaining.

I saw that at Lemuria earlier this week and was interested but decided to pick up The Every by Dave Eggers since it was autographed— limited nunbers of hardcovers with autographed nameplates available at independent bookstores.

I like Eggers’ writing but haven’t read any of his books since Zeitoun and maybe I should have since The Every is a sequel to The Circle which was released after Zeitoun.

His editing and publishing can be a bit too cute though. I used to subscribe to McSweeney’s and the format changes could be too much.
