To long time posters and readers of this board and its predecessor, certain words and phrases have taken on a life of their own. We immediately understand their origin, meaning, and context. Whereas board newcomers and visitors have no idea what we're talking about.

Three such catchphrases that come to my mind are:

• Gary Schiano
• Easton Ave. Subway
• FOCUS!
