C'mon man, why can't other programs leave our state alone?

Greg needs to set his foot down on this one.

If the father bolts for the NFL, does the son automagically become the head coach at UNC?

It probably does not matter but he looks very old right now.

I can remember my freshman year in college and the freshman team played a game against Andover. Heard about their legendary team the year before, with 3 HS AAs with 2 eventually being D1 HM AAs at Ivy schools. Easily the best team north of Long Island. Included on the team, but not getting the plaudits, was this PG midfielder from Maryland. His name was Bill Belichick. That was the 1970 Andover team, so I'm not surprised he's looking old.

He is starting to move old, if that makes sense.

imagine being recruited by Bill Belichick. It's like living history; stories for the rest of your life.

If I got a call and the guy on the other end said, "Hey Jack, it's Vince Lombardi. I want you to come play for me" I don't think it would be far off from a Belichick call

Christ. The guy is gonna be 73 years old in a few months and has a new bride.
Why would he wanna start a new career at UNC ?
I thought he'd bring in his son and set him up to take over... travel with him recruiting.. helping him make connections. But that doesn't seem to be the case.. this year.

So I'll go with cash grab. He'll give it the old college try.. his well-earned ego will demand that. He loves football to have kept at it so long.

You would think Schiano and Belichick would have a gentleman's agreement on not recruiting... oh... Oops.

Probably what is keeping him more than active.
Maybe she's a PITA and he already wanted to get out of the house. Good looks fade quickly if the personality is a zero. Just speculating, no inside information.

With Belichek and Sitkowski here and Fran Brown lurking in the background no wonder why Schiano is shifting his efforts to Pennsylvania!!!!!

Diaco gets around more than the flu in the winter time.

Diaco has served as a defensive coordinator at Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Purdue; additionally, he had a brief, three-year stint as head coach at UConn.

Additionally, Diaco has worked collegiately at his alma mater, Iowa, as well as Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and Virginia, among other stops; he coached professionally earlier this decade as the defensive line coach for the New Jersey Generals.
